Louis Toffoli

Louis Toffoli was a French artist born on May 14, 1927 in Aix-en-Provence. He grew up during the post-war period, a time of reconstruction and modernization in France. He studied art and painting at the National School of Decorative Arts and the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. Toffoli began his artistic career by exhibiting his works in galleries and museums in France and abroad. He was particularly active in the 1950s and 1960s, a period of great creativity and artistic renewal in France. His works were influenced by lyrical abstraction and artistic movements such as geometric abstraction and kinetic art. In addition to painting, Toffoli also worked as an engraver and draftsman.
