Salvador Dalí

Salvador Dali was a Spanish surrealist painter, sculptor, engraver and writer, born and died in Figueras.
He is one of the most famous painters of the 20th century, despite a very personal expression and a painting that began in the convulsions of the birth of surrealism, before joining a "Dalinian" classicism after the Second World War. His obsessions (religion, sexuality, dreams, his wife Gala) have largely nourished his art and contributed to his fame.
