Grolier Ornamentali

Jean Grolier is the most famous collector of beautiful Renaissance books. In Italy or in Paris, he had single bindings made for each acquired work.
Paperblanks was inspired by one of the latest models developed by Grolier before his death in 1565, a gold-carved brown leather binding composed of simple curves tangled with floral elements filling the six-pointed star.
Proposed with ornamental edge for the Mini version, the Grolier Ornamentali, is the perfect tribute to the art of Renaissance binding.
