Edgar Felix Pierre Jacobs (1904-1987) is a Belgian comic book author and the creator of the famous Blake and Mortimer.

Hergé’s great friend, he also helps, during the War, Tintin’s father in the redesigns of the first albums, Then he collaborated on the Seven Crystal Balls and the Temple of the Sun.
And it was Tintin’s Journal that, in 1946, initiated the publication of the Secret de l'Espadon, the first album of the blake et mortimer series.
